Banned Words and Phrases

In light of this evening’s State of the Union, I have decided the following words and phrases should be banned from all politician’s vocabulary:

  • Transparency
  • Yes we can
  • Let me be clear
  • The people have asked for change
  • Bailout (wall street, AIG and the like)
  • Too big to fail
  • We inherited…(enter excuse here)
  • Teachable moment
  • Stimulus (package)
  • Beer summit
  • Shovel ready
  • Politics of change
  • I feel your pain (one of the most annoying by far)

I’m sure I’m missing many, but this is definitely a good start. Please feel free to add your own!
